We understand there’s many ways to lower your BMW, but none of these ‘traditional’ methods come close to the versatility that air provides. At the touch of a button you can lower or raise your E46 BMW by up to 100mm – that’s nearly 4-inches, enough to clear even the biggest speed bumps and driveways. The result is a car that’s not only super-cool to look at, but also significantly improved suspension performance while keeping your BMW’s practicality.

Air Lift has stepped up the air suspension game with our new threaded body, bag-over style air strut. The monotube struts offer 30-way damping adjustment from soft through to a stiff performance setup depending on your driving needs. Furthermore, each strut features a threaded body allowing you to perfectly setup the vehicle for driving low by changing the position of the lower mount on the strut. And unlike many kits out there, this one comes complete with front camber plates and anti-roll bar end links providing you with all the tools to create the perfect fitment or track alignment!

For the rear we replace the coil spring with a double bellow air spring to compliment the front for the ultimate in ride quality.  We also swap out the rear shock a threaded body mono-tube shock which also has 30 levels of damping adjustability. Couple Air Lift’s smooth riding bag system with the ingenious damping set-up and the result is nothing short of incredible.

Installation is simple with Air Lift Performance’s detailed instruction manuals. Anyone with the skill to wire a stereo and swap suspension components can have their car on the ground in a matter of hours. Only basic hand tools are necessary to complete the job. Keep in mind if you are looking for the ultimate low look, then some frame modifications and fabrication skill will be required.
