Air and loathing in Las Vegas - ALP @ SEMA 2017
11/1/2017
The worlds premier automotive specialty show opened its doors for 2017. The Speciality Equipment Market Association show, or SEMA for short, draws the hottest products and biggest builds to the Las Vegas Convention Center.
SEMA has become a milestone in the car builder’s calendar. People are eager to complete builds in time to unveil them at the show for the 150,000 people that attend each year.
This year we have two of those builders finding a home for their projects on the Air Lift Performance booth and they couldn’t be more different. On one hand we have Brian Henderson’s freshly finished deep purple Cadillac, on the other we have a bright white Liberty Walk McLaren. Two ends of a tuning spectrum coming together to display the versatility of Air Lift Performance.
But that’s not all, Air Lift Performance can be spotted throughout the show and the Baller Hauler takes matching your vehicles style to the extreme. The AE86 support truck channels Drift Matsuri vibes and matches the livery of the drift car it transports. The stance is achieved with Air Lift Performance bags and totally one off bodywork. It’s taken the internet by storm and is one of the big surprises of SEMA 2017.
With 1200+ ft/lb on tap this rat rods makes for an interesting tow car, but Air Lift Performance suspension keeps control of the situation and as a result they are far more civilized than you might think. The Chevrolet C20 on the trailer matches perfectly to the Tin Man tow vehicle and is a sight to behold out on the highway.
Stay tuned throughout the week as we showcase more gems from SEMA Show 2017, it looks set to be a great week for car builds and we look forward to bringing them to you!
