Another Look: 10th Gen Accord on Air

In the world of Honda tuning, no other model matches the diversity (and following) of the trusty Civic – irrespective of generation. But there’s one sedan which, despite going much more under the radar, continues to go from strength to strength with every model – the Honda Accord.

Why? Well, the Accord packs everything you could possibly need from a family-friendly sedan. The engine may lack a few pistons compared to others but it still packs a solid punch, the interior feels premium and the driver-friendly handling means its good fun to drive. There’s just one thing it needs rectifying – that ride height!

Each strut is a direct replacement for the OEM suspension and gives you complete control of your suspension. At the push of a button, you can drop your Accord 4.0 inches in the front and 5.9 inches in the rear. The end result is a killer stance and greatly improved suspension performance, both achieved without sacrificing practicality.

In the front, we designed a kit that features double-bellows air springs, paired with our threaded-body, monotube dampers. With the 30 levels of adjustability that Air Lift Performance dampers provide, and the included, adjustable camber plates give you the freedom to form your perfect ride.

In the rear, it’s a similar combo – double-bellow air springs, paired with the same adjustable threaded-body, monotube dampers, for complete adjustability and the versatility that you can’t get anywhere else.

The Honda Accord (10th Gen) Performance Series Kit is available with a range of Air Lift Performance air-management options, including the innovative 3H height + pressure sensing system. Air Lift Performance used a state-of-the-art 32-bit processor and advanced height + pressure algorithms to create the system. They then paired this with a full color, Bluetooth-capable controller in order to make 3H the most advanced air management system on the market.

Installation is simple with Air Lift Performance’s detailed instruction manuals. Anyone with the skill to wire a stereo and to swap suspension components can have their car on the ground in only a matter of hours. Basic hand tools are the only things necessary to complete the job! Keep in mind that if you are looking for the ultimate low look, some modifications and fabrication will be required.

Air Lift Performance tests the components of this kit to 1 million cycles (approximately 100,000 miles) on a hydraulic test rig, in temperatures ranging from -30°F to 150°F.
