#LIFEONAIR: Denny Putra's Mercedes-Benz E300 on Air Suspension

When you think of a VIP Style Merc, slammed on an Air Lift Performance suspension, Indonesia isn’t necessarily the first country you’d think would be responsible for creating such a masterpiece.

For what the country lacks in overall size, it more than makes up for with quality, which is perfectly demonstrated by Denny Putra’s E300 Benz.

Euro cars – and the VIP Style associated with ’em – have always been a favorite of Denny’s. Over the past year, he has painstakingly transformed his E300 into the jaw-dropping creation pictured here, using nothing but the absolute best parts in the process. Denny isn’t a man who likes to cut corners, so every aspect of the Merc had to be carefully considered in order to create an authentic representation of VIP Style.

Both the front and rear bumpers were taken from the E300’s big brother, the E63 AMG, and the wider arches were all custom made from metal, following the OE lines and allowing the massive 20in OZ Futuras to tuck perfectly within the arches. In addition to the custom bodywork and AMG panels, Denny also had the whole car repainted in Candy Maroon… Not your typical color choice for a big Benz, but it’s safe to say that he absolutely nailed it!

Denny equipped the E300 with Air Lift Performance’s 3H air management system, allowing both ride height and pressure to be monitored in order to provide the smoothest ride possible. VIP Style isn’t about bouncing around or scraping on the road, after all…

Pop the trunk and you’re treated to a completely custom installation of the Air Lift Performance 3H manifold, Viair compressors and audio system, all built and trimmed within a custom enclosure, for the maximum VIP impact. Just because you can’t see it from the outside doesn’t make it any less important to the build!

To say Denny’s E300 is one of the most complete builds we’ve ever seen is a huge understatement, made even more astonishing when we think about where the car resides. It just goes to show that with a clear vision, the right parts and a bit of hard work anything is possible.
