Play on Players - Air Lift Performance @ Players Classic, Part 2

With such huge diversity at the Players Classic event, it’s hard to pack it all in to just one blog post. You’ll find the first part of our coverage here, now get ready for even more!

A short walk around the Air Lift Performance showcase uncovers all manner of modified madness. It seems that no make and model is safe when it comes to the UK scene and that’s a good thing. Players Classic gives such a huge range of diversity that you find yourself smiling with appreciation at every stop.

And if VIP meets 1990s DTM isn’t quite to your taste, there is always something at the other end of the spectrum around the corner…

It’s this diversity that makes Players Classic so entertaining. Of course there are some instantly recognisable builds like Players crew members Jay and Kiran’s Air Lift Performance equipped Audi 80 and Mercedes 230CE, but there also some real curve balls.

Take this bagged Austin Healey for example, this car was completed in the early hours of the morning before the event and broke cover to the world at Players Classic.

To create the controversial build, the guys at RIIVA Design took a barn find 1950’s  Austin Healey 100-6 and dropped the car on Air Lift Performance bags and Air Lift Performance 3P, the perfect blend of classic British roadster and new technology.  Add in a period interior re-trim and this car spread around the internet like wildfire.

Another car that people were able to check out for the first time at the show is Meguiar’s latest build, a Police-spec Crown Victoria. A familiar sight in the USA, Crown Victorias are seldom seen in the UK. Especially not laid out on Air Lift Performance suspension!

Coined the polish interceptor and marked with ‘to protect and shine’ it’s an incredibly complete package. The highlight of the build is in the boot, or should we say trunk?

Tucked in the back is a full Install Company build using Air Lift Performance 3P and a pair of seamless carbon fibre air tanks.

Year over year, Players Classic brings new surprises and a fresh twist to a winning formula. With the dust only just settling from the 2016 event, we’re already looking forward to 2017!
